Thank you for your interest in Riverside Baptist Church. We hope you will take a few minutes to look around our website and get acquainted with our vision and our programs.
Here’s what to expect as you visit us this Sunday…
We invite individuals and families of any age and background to attend our services and feel at home. Please come dressed in whatever is comfortable for you; you’ll find people dressed in anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a few jackets and ties, and everything in between.
And, even if you need to walk into our service a little late, we are happy to have you! (Hey, we’ve all been guests somewhere at some point — sometimes you just want to avoid those awkward first hellos by just slipping in after things start!)
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am until about 11:55am and offer several programs throughout the week. Click here to see our weekly calendar of events.
We are located at 11 Riverside Drive in Huntsville, Ontario. When you come please feel free to pull up to our front doors to drop off any passengers; we also have designated handicap parking near the door for those in need. Each week we have some of our members at the door to help give directions as needed. We have an elevator service to take those who struggle with stairs up to the Sanctuary or down to the Sunday School classes.
Our nursery is located right next to the Sanctuary so parents can stay close to their infants and toddlers. Each of our Nursery workers have gone through our volunteer screening and training. Nursing Moms are welcome to come and go as needed.
Children in Junior Kindergarten through to grade 7 join in our worship for the first half of the service and then have Sunday School classes from approximately 11:00am through to the end of the sermon. Each of our Sunday School workers have gone through our volunteer screening and training. Parents are welcome to sit in with their children until they feel comfortable.
At Riverside Baptist Church we place the preaching, teaching, and application of God’s Word as our highest priority. We provide Bibles in each pew and welcome anyone to take them home to study or give away. The page numbers of the Bibles in the pews are referenced in most sermons for your ease of use. If you would like to learn more about how to navigate the Bible, please speak with the Pastor or one of our Ushers and we would be happy to help!
After the service we welcome everyone to join us for coffee and cookies in our foyer before heading home for lunch.
